Acid Etched Glass –Innovative Decorative Glass
Description
Orient acid etched glass with an attractive smooth, silky surface is an innovative decorative glass product and can be used to enhance all areas of the home. Produced by acid etching one face of a piece of clear glass, it has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance. As a translucent product, it admits light while still providing obscuration and vision control.

Features

Application
Acid etched glass is ideal for use in interiors for doors, shower screens (the acid etched face needs to be positioned away from contact with the water), wall cladding, balustrades, furniture, e.g., cupboard doors, shelves and tables, etc.

Installation Guidelines
The strength of the support structure must be taken into account when calculating the size of the panels. When installing the acid etched glass, avoid direct contact with a significant heat source.

Positioning of the glass sheets
1. The pattern should face upwards for reduced slippage.
2. The pattern should face downwards for areas where ease of cleaning is important.
3. Please make sure the silicon used is compatible with the etched glass.
